Good Morning NorCal...A little rain here last night. We're off to the granddaughter's BBall tournament today and tomorrow. Boy, sure is fun to watch 5th and 6th graders play.
Hope you all have a great day, and weekend for that matter.
Don't know yet, it all depends on what the X-rays show. A knee replacement would be great, but the VA doesn't do anything like that without making sure there are no other options. If they did replace the knee, I would imagine I could drive a manual transmissioned vehicle again. That would be awesome!
Yeah Hank, It always amazes me how good some of the kids are. There are 8 teams entered in this tournament, and we won our first round. So the team moves into the Championship half, and plays again at 10:00am today.
Win that, and we play the finals at 4:00pm this afternoon. Looks like a long day.
Hope you all have a great Saturday........
Good Morning NorCal...Well, the girls didn't fare as we had hoped. They came in 4th, so that's not too bad. Of course they were disappointed.
I then found out that there's another tournament next weekend. And another tournament the following weekend.
I think I hear that sucking sound...
Kinda keeps going Sparky. My friends daughter travels every weekend playing multiple games, 15yo.
My bets are in, go Pitt and Atl if they both win I will parlay that into late game GB to win.
Interesting day I had today. There is a Sikh church just north of the mobile home park I live in, and I pass it on the way to my church every Sunday. Today, on the way back from church, about 50 feet north of the driveway, I hear a strange engine noise, one I have never heard before. As it passes me, and pulls into the Sikh church parking lot, I find out it is a brand new white Lamborghini Aventador LP-400 roadster with the top off. It was so new it did not have a license plate, just the dealer plate from a Las Vegas dealer. I did not know what model it was until I checked on the internet as I don't keep up with them anymore, but this thing was gorgeous. And so low to the ground the driver had to inch his/her way into the driveway. I never expected to see a Lamborghini in Fresno, much less in my neighborhood.
According to their website, this car has a 6.5 liter V12 that produces 700 horsepower and has a top speed of 217 mph. I would have loved to be the one to drive it from Las Vegas to here! The website doesn't mention a price, but I am sure it is as much as a good sized house (or two). Carbon fiber frame, all wheel drive, and a sweet exhaust note. made my day seeing that.
