Hey guys, I'm looking at changing my 66f250 automatic to a four speed stick. Was just curious if the break and clutch assembly under the dash from a 79 (since i already have one) would work with minimal fabrication in my 66 cab. Or would i be better off looking for one out of a 66 somewhere? Thanks, 66f250

You will need all the clutch linkage and the pedals from a 1965/66 F100/250 2WD. Finding these parts in your area will not be easy.
The FE bell housing is the same: 1965/66 F100/250 352 2WD - 1966 F100 352 4WD - 1967 F100/350 352 - 1968/76 F100/350 360/390.
Any other year inre to clutch linkage, clutch and brake pedals, the bracket they suspend from...you will be opening a HUGE can of worms!
1973/79 F100/350 for example:
TWENTY TWO different brake pedals - NINETEEN different master cylinders - SEVENTEEN different power brake boosters - SEVEN different clutch pedals - FIVE different brackets the pedals suspend from, I kid you not!
Let me know if you need any of the clutch linkage and pedal setup. I have all that from a '65, including the whole pedal bracket with clutch and brake. See my listing (parting '66 and '65) and PM or email me.
