I have a 98 f150 4.6 auto 4x4

Can anyone tell me what this is? Its located right by my oil filter but its like ziptied by last owner and Id like to just know what it is




The number says L9070

 

DRL module.

 

+1 daytime running light module. from my knowledge all the 97-03 have the wiring ran to that spot, so either you had the module that gave you drl operating off of keyswitch, and overridden by light switch. or a standar module that directed current via light switch. not the easiest item to get to, i rebuild the front end of one 98 with a front clip of a 97 that had drl. at the time i didnt know what it was, just put the part on, i wanted to add that to my current 98 but i wasnt gonna go through the hassle of swapping...
