Not bad, always good to be around home. Went to a gravel pit in the morning and shot the .300 win mag a bit, nice gun. Spent some time cleaning other guns later then tweeked the timing on the '86

Sounds like a good day Steve. I need to get a good range trip in. I have a bunch of black powder rounds I would like to use up.

That sounds like a good plan. I will be shooting my .50 cal soon, as I just modified the breech plug to accept 25 acp brass vs. the popular .209 primer. I know all this modern talk is not what you do but I wanted to keep you filled in to what I am shooting.

I have a couple in-lines for the sole purpose of being able to get additional deer. My favorite muzzleloader is an older Hawken style that has taken several deer. I also have a shotgun in the same style but not nearly as atractive, all camo for turkey. I went to the newer in-lines because I needed to put a scope on for any distance with my eyes not as good as they once were and I didn't have to heart to put a scope on the original style hawken. Some things are just wrong.

Afternoon all, rough day here as we said our farewells to my dad who passed around 9 this morning. At least he is at peace and not suffering anymore.
