Looked into baja, almost joined but its a really big team, and not enough hands on for me. Besides, I like spending time building my dentside too much to build a truck for the school 
I didn't think I would ever stay in SD (originally from Sioux Falls) but when I got to the hills it was a whole different story. Out here, I'm 15 miles from the badlands, 15 from the national forest. I have deer in my backyard every day, and it's wonderful. If you ever feel like a road trip, head for west river SD and come visit. I'll show off some of our fancy facilities as well as some of the nicest offroading/hunting land in the country. There is way more scenery out here than east river.

And honestly I'm not going to bring my dent out here for 2 reasons; 1: I don't trust it to make the drive. 2: I don't want to risk rust damage from all the salt on the roads. -Jameson

I can respect that. Bought my dent out of Iowa, south of Sioux City, and holy sh** is it rusty. but enough of my thread hijacking. On the console idea, you could try modeling one after the taurus bench seats, where it folds open towards the dash and has cupholders in it. pretty neat design overall.
