Well I bumped the wiring going to my trailer brake controller with a screwdriver, it arched. Went to start the truck up, everything else works fine except the tachometer is dead. Did I fry the thing?
I also highly doubt that arching the TRAILER brake wiring would affect the tach. I have to drive it soon, but will check the fuses later today. Is there a fuse for the tachometer?
Now just to re do the wire connectors that someone did on the trailer brake controller. They used the standard round crimp connectors but have bare wiring exposed past the connector, and I struck it with the screwdriver on accident.
