OK.. so i looked at my factory chrome rims and they weren't 6.5" wide, they were 7.5" high so I can go to a Nitto 285/75/17. With these 285's and the stock rims will I have any rub issues with a 2008 F250 SD crew cab with the stock suspension? Also, will I need to do a leveling kit on the front end?
Thanks for the reply. I am undecided if I am going to go with the Terra Graps or the Trail Graps. The trail graps are way better looking but I have read that my MPG will decrease 2-3 by running those. I also didnt know if I would need to level the front end by going to the 285's but it sounds like you havent and your extremely happy with the tires. Anyone else running this same possible combo and feelings on the Trails vs the Terras?
Well, my tires are all season highway tread and my truck is 2wd so I can't tell you much about those off-road tires, but most any of those kind of tires don't get as good gas mileage and usually have lots of road noise.
I bought my truck with new Terra Grapplers on them and 75K on the truck. Now it has 131K on the truck and the tires still have probably another 5K on them. I'd sure like to know how the guy above wore out a set in 20K miles. My truck has towed with them, off-roaded and daily driven with them. When I do replace them they will be with anther set just like them.

Me too cause at $1200 I was real disappointed.funny thing is I never spun the them, always rotated at 6 thousand miles, and they wore very even.
