solid dana 44 questions

If I want to swap in a solid axle, can I use my factory upper spring bucket with shock mount and can I use any of my other lift components from my current setup? I'd like to do this in the future but I want to make know going in what pieces I can reuse.

You currently have a 2wd f150 with a 4" lift, correct? I don't know the answer to your question but those that do may not have your truck specs memorized.

That's what it is. I didn't think it mattered too much since everything above the ttb is the same.

I think about the only thing you could reuse is extended brake lines and the drop pitman arm. The coils for a Dana 44 SA are different and wont mount into the current towers. This means you'll also need a new shock tower mount. Basically everything you just put on for the lift will have to come out and be replaced.

that's what I was afraid of. At that point I may as well just put in a 60, it would take as much work.
