trade school b600 project



as found in scrapyard




first pic after 3 window sections removed by students. working on where to place rear axle. plans are for a 2 link and bags. rear body section will line up better in a factory seam once rear axle is moved foward

got the bus in the shop. We are setting ride height and rear axle placement

working on stance
should just about be able to put the body on the ground now





found a lower and narrower front axle
working out mounting details
should be able to run regular front sheet metal now

Very cool project. Will the roof be chopped, or are you stopping at a body sectioned and channeled?

Will make the chop decision after we get it all back togeather.
It does look like a chop would help the profile.
May look better when the windows are installed
May not use the straight axle, looking at replacing with a front section from a p30 box van, same frame deminsions plus disc brakes ane power steering, also dropped spindles and springs are avalible
