Look on each side of the caliper for a diamond shaped opening. Inside this is a metal rail with a rubber filled center. Bend any retaining tabs towards center of opening and using hammer and punch, drive the retainer(s) rail out the back of caliper/housing assembly. Then, just lift the caliper off the rotor. Replacement is reverse. Don't worry if you damage/destroy them during removal. You can get new ones at most auto supply houses. Lube the slots during re-assembly (caliper slide rail grease) to allow the caliper to float (slide) during operation.

Also, when you put them back in, make sure you look closely at the shaping of the pin and the housing that it goes into. It will only go in one way, you cannot rotate it 180 degrees.
