Kind of hard to give recommendations without knowing what you need? Sheet metal?, paint?, chrome?, nuts and bolts? - what stage of your project are you in?
The truck is a driving project, this winter I am going to replace the floor pans on both sides or just small sections and the front cab mounts. Fix my oil leaks, Replace the wheels the truck came with steel wheels (I already have these). And re-build the steering. Figure I have four months to do all of that before it is time to drive again in the spring.
Looking for suppliers for items I will need this winter, any recommendations?
Most of the repro parts sellers have the same parts.
FTE sponsors: Blue Oval Truck Parts (Anahem CA) / Mac's Antique Auto Parts (Lockwood NY).
Blue Oval's catalog is difficult to read and has very few pics.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Other repro parts sellers:
Auto Krafters (New Market VA); Carolina Classics (Durham NC); C & G Ford Parts (Escondido CA); Dennis Carpenter (Concord NC); LMC (Lenexa KS);
NPD (National Parts Depot - 4 US locations); Sacramento (CA) Vintage Ford; Truck & Car Shop (Orange CA).
LMC's catalog has a gazillion errors and omissions, their VIN decoder info is crap!
Carpenter has the best catalogs, color pics of the parts, EZ to read and uses Ford part numbers to ID the parts.
