Did you buy that down by Louisville? I was looking at that one and emailed, never heard a response so I figured it was sold.

I'm interested in the king pin axle. If you still have my number, give me a call and give me some more info about it. Otherwise I can call you?

seats plans changed. grey seats are going in the 84, already removed all the supercab hinges and brackets, cleaned them, switched bottom foams side to side. and installed reg cab sliders hinges and brackets to go in the 84

Becuse i just bought some lightning obs 40 20 40 seats!

seats are literally perfect. i will still shampoo them. came out of a 40k mile lightning. guy has been building it for 14 years. seats were wrapped in plastic and in storage for that long.

plastics are perfect, console is perfect no rips burns or stains at all anywhere. im so happy with these and think they will look awesome inside this thing. interior will be black or gray.

the lightnng seats are getting all th supercab/bronco hinges, sliders, and brackets so they mount and function like they should and allow access t rear seat.

have some questions on the harness though brad if you could shed some light or explain how you have wired yours in past. it has two pig tails under the seat(not including the one that plugs into the harness that clips into the 40 20 40 seat pan) one is blue one is black.

anyways here are some pics.. already started taking them apart for cleaning and switching out of hinges and brackets and sliders.

and a picture of the supercab hinges to explain why i need them, they have an extra arm that connects a rod from the sliders to allow for rear acces when seat folds forward, it pulls the rod and releases the slider to slide seat way forward.

the supercab brackets and hinges and sliders im using on the lightning seats:

now the lightning seats!

and the wiring im asking about:

I have no idea on the second plug. in the harness

One plug is for power to the seats for the lumbar

The seatbelt typically have their own separate plug for the seatbelt light.

those lightning seats look good.

Did you just swap the "20" sections lower frames to work with your applications?

Damn. i have the harness that clips into the seat bracket and that has its own plug off the seat harness. the two that i pictured are a little further up than that one and i was confused on the blue one and the black one. now that you mention it the black one looks like the normal seatbelt one. the blue one is i have no idea. ill throw power and ground to it and see what i find.

yeah i am happy with the lightning seats. awesome shape, will look even better after shampooed

yupp on the 20 lower frame. just unbolt the arms for the upper part. and slide it off and put other one in.

sold the trans, transfer case, and nine inch rearend out of it.

Entire drivetrain and axles are all gone.

next step is once i swap my axles on my 97 to mock up the one tons on this.

bought motor mounts for the cummins too

getting the trans out was a blast!

Found out what was wrong with the motor. knew it was blown when i bought it

The number 1 cylinder piston was in the oil pan in pieces.

the oil pump shaft was bent like a "s"/ the two rear most cylinder must have spun a bearing and were seized to the crank.

Had to unbolt the main and rod journals, beat the pistons up into the cylinders, and Andy beat the ever living **** out of the crank to finally get it out, all so we could get the torque convertor off.

I have made 550 bucks on this bronco so far, selling all the crap i didnt need.
here is my list: bought the bronco for 980
Sold:
Wheels and tires 400
front axle 225
front seats 150
rear axle 250
rear sport bumper 150
trans and t case 350

+545

here are some pics.

big thankyou to Andy (DazedandConfused) for all the help, His giant self comes in handy
