54 parking light wiring

I want to replace the pigtails for the parking lights but can't figure out how to remove the parking light. I removed the parking light bezel, lense and the headlight assembly but can't figure out how to remove the housing for the parking light. I've replaced all the headlight and parking light wiring because the insulation was brittle but had to leave the first 6" of the pigtail.
If anyone knows how to remove the pigtail I'd appreciate you telling me how.

Mid Fifty instructions says the bulb socket and wires push in/out of the light housing from the rear. They may be heavily corroded in after 60 years.

The problem is I can't get at the back side of the socket. I see the wires coming through the bottom of the headlight housing but can't find screws holding the parking light housing on.

There are 2 Phillips head screws (each) through the gravel pan. You have to get to them from under the vehicle (unless the gravel pan is off). Get some rust penetrator they usually are rusted solid.
Keep us posted.

Thank you very much. I took a look and can see the screw heads. Luckily I rustproofed the area in 1977 so I think I should be able to get them off.
