Just traded in my 03 dually and picked up this 07, 350 114K
Drove it right home from the dealer... shut the truck off and went to start it up 10 min's later.... Only turns over and doesn't fire.
I have a scangauge
KOEO- 48 volts
Turning over 47.5 Volts
There is fuel in the tank
Any thoughts of where I go next?
What is the ICP pressure while cranking when it wont start? Likely a HPO leak. Once running and warm ( at 185-190* ECT ) what is the IPR% at idle? Let the engine cool for a bit and try it again, it will probably start.

I'll let it sit for a half hour and try again. If it works I'll get that information and post it.
thanks
Nice looking truck,Your voltage is low,how long was it running to get those pids?
Thank you, I love this truck ... just gotta figure this out
At that point 10 min's. I just drove the truck to get it fueled up. For the past 30 min's it hasn't been shut down. Once I got home I shut it down.... same thing... won't start.
IPR while turning over was the same as I listed above. No change while hot.
May be a battery problem?
Do yourself a favor, take it back and tell them to fix it. You got the basic problems known, let them take care of the headaches so you can have that new truck feeling
Dealers like to fancy the outside up all the time. By warm starting, are you guessing what temperature it was at? It needs to be hot usually to not start unless it's a bad leak.
Either way, hopefully your dealer doesn't give you a fight.
I only ever purchased one truck, my 6.0 out of a different province. Apparently since it passed safety there, and not in my home province it was my issue, a nice 1500$ in ball-joints.
Id like to take it to Advance Auto to have the batteries and ALT tested, just for my own piece of mind. But if the truck is hit or miss with starting it may not work.

ECT was at 186 when I shut it down
FYI- I watched the volts drop to 10.8 when trying to start
