Radio does not shut off

Radio does not shut off
I have a 2004 new model f-150. The radio stays on until the computer shuts it down after 15 min. I've check the door switch. And it's good. Anyone know why or how to fix this problem?

Are you saying that it does NOT shut off after you open the drivers side door? If you just shut off the key and it doesn't shut off, it's normal. Will continue to be powered until the timer shuts it off...- OR you open the drivers door.
