Windows quit working and radio stays on

My power windows do not work at all, there is no chime any more and the radio stays on after the truck is turned off and with no key in the ignition. 2006 F150. Thanks!!

Your window lock button or switch may be in wrong position or maybe just a bad switch in need of cleaning. Check fuse too.

My radio will also stay on after engine off and key pulled out … until I open a door.

Yeah, the radio would stay on until you open the door. Now, the radio stays on after the truck is off, no key and door open. Also, the windows do not work on any switch and the chime doesn't work at all. Obviously an electrical issue some where..

Sounds like you may have an problem with the wiring to a door, probably the drivers since that is used the most. Windows not working and truck not seeing the door open to shut off the radio leads me in that direction.

What jr105 said. The ground wire is broken somewhere in the door harness, most likely where it bends from opening and closing the door.

The wires break inside insulation on drivers door bend point . You have to test each wire then splice in new sections using good flexible wire but of course the master control also get exposed to a lot of rain and use . You can cheaply use a aftermarket or clean up yours it can be done but I just replace .Clean your grounds in the left kick panel .
You can lift battery leads and ohm out each door wire using needles to pierce wires .Kick panel and door panel removal not that hard .I had to replace whole regulator assembly drivers door at one point .
