Ohhhh Boyyyyyy....... I will add this...... I am in my 50's of age so I remember when ABS started coming out. As a youngster, My first thoughts were (who needs all this new crap on their cars, Just more high tech crap to break and we cannot fix in back yard OR it just cost so much, I just don't want it...). Now that I have had a chance to drive many vehicles with vs. without ABS, There is NO DOUBT that the ABS is a SUPERIOR design OR improvement to the automotive industry. That it is a somewhat complicated computer controlled system and (usually) expensive to fix does NOT make me a happy backyard mechanic. My current E-350 has had the ABS light illuminating now for about the last 2 years. I don't like seeing the light on the dash but I have not got around to trying to figure out what is wrong yet either. It seems like the ABS is STILL WORKING so I (guess) it's a sensor that might be sending (or not sending) a signal that is within the parameters of what the ABS computer wants to see. I'm not even going to get into how many miles I have driving CDL Doubles/Tankers/HazMat... Got em all and like Johnny Cash said.... I've been everywhere man, Crossed the deserts bare man, Breathed the mountain air. Of travel I've had my share man , I've been EVERYWHERE!!!!! LOL..... Good Luck DDT
