302 swap
very soon, i am going to be swaping out my stock 302 out of my 69 bronco for an 88 HO, putting (probobly) cobra EFI Massair intake. has anyone tried somthing like this before? tips, tricks, advice? (i have never actually fooled w/ FI, but have done much reserch on it)

Go to the search at the bottom of the forum. Type EFI or fuel injection. There are a few of us here that have done it. There are a lot of little details. I could type for hours on all of the variables with this swap. It would be easier for you to ask specific questions.
I do know that you will have to convert to Mass Air unless your 88 donor is a Calif car

The stock speed density system does not respond well to any engine modifications over stock.
One of the mods that were mentioned was a larger intake. The ECM doesn't compensate for the increase in air flow.

OK...that explains it....I plan on keeping the motor bone stock since I'm running out of money. But just as long as I can use the motor and not make any mods I'll be ok. My next project though............
