solvimg my ICM issues

what do you guys think of this kit sold here?
McCully Racing Motors- We have exactly what your over-heated TFI Module Needs!
has anyone bought one from here? Is it a scam?

The distributor mounted ICMs are known to suffer from heat related issues but there were and still are millions of them on the road. Use an OEM quality replacement and plenty of heat sink compound. Set a reminder to re-apply the heat sink compound every 3-5 years.

It's cheaper than the $55 USD price tag for that kit. On the other hand you stand less of a chance of a heat related failure for a remote mount ICM. $55 buys a lot of beer or a very nice single batch bourbon

this is true, a lot of beer and burbon is nice, but being able to go to work is better
I plan on keeping this truck so I have no problems in spending the dosh to make the truck better

For $55 it may be peace of mind. The cost of a tube of heat sink compound and a calendar reminder...free.

Your choice. I understand keeping the family budget in check.
