After honing and new kits, both master and slave still leak. Any good news out there on buying these new, and from which company?

I got them through LMC & mine are working fine. Probably available through Dennis Carpenter also if you want a higher-quality part.

 

I got mine from my local NAPA store and have had no problems.All though I have heard some people have had problems with the NAPA ones.

 

I got my brake master from Monument... works good. Not sure what brand, sorry.

Unfortunately, I don't have a clutch anymore.

 

advance auto parts for slave. $32 Mines been in 2 yrs and has been OK

 

I also got the master from Advanced.

 

Napa for brake master 2 years ago... All good

 

All the new ones come from you know where!

 

Got my Chinese MC from Napa 2 years ago. Oh, and my thickness planer from there (not Napa) in 1982. Still working hard. (both of us)

 

NAPA and Advanced should be able to get either. My local NAPA can also make the steel to rubber hose as well. I think I paid about $100 for all three, but the memory regarding cost is fuzzy... especially when the wife is around.

I have ordered both master and slave from Parts Geek and both leaked. I then ordered both from Advanced Auto and they leak too. I'm trying Advance one more time. It's getting quite frustrating!
