Front axle question
What front axle came on the 1994 Ford F 350 4x4 truck's,the dana 50 or 60 ?

Almost. The brake calipers are different. If you are shopping for one, the later style calipers are better than the older ones. Here is some very good info on these axles.

I think I read that the caliper mounting brackets interchanged? So if you have a 95 and newer D50 and you are swapping in an older 94 and older D60 you could swap the caliper mounting brackets and keep your newer brakes. Somebody would need to fact check me though.

front should be a dana 50 IFS, rear is a sterling 10.25.

Ok, so a 1996 F350 4X4 Std cab LB w/460 SRW has a front Dana 50 , and rear is a sterling 10.25?

no. all F-350's after mid year 1985 to 1997 got a dana 60 solid axle. F-250 got either the dana 44 or dana 5o IFS.

Could be either a semi float sterling 10.25 and Dana 44 HD TTB
OR
Full float sterling 10.25 and a D50 TTB

It SHOULD have a Dana 60 solid axle in the front unless someone swapped it out
