VOLTAGE REGULATOR
66 f 250 390 motor 2wd
i am putting my truck back together and would like to have the least amount of electrical wiring all over my truck and i am trying to figure out how the voltage regulator is wired to the alternator and then back to feed power to the rest of the truck i have looked at a lot of different diagrams and tried the search on this forum.
this is what i am thinking
A goes from Regulator marked A directly to alternator marked A ???
fld goes from regulator marked F directly to alternator marked fld??
str goes from regulator marked s directly to alternator marked str???
I goes from regulator marked I directly to a indicator light in the dash??
also does all of my available power for the truck have to come off the A Terminal on the voltage regulator or can the power be pulled directly off the positive battery post
