I have a slight problem on my 90 bronco with a EFI 351W. We just got it rebuilt. It turned over and ran for about 10 min then we shut it down we let it sit. and it would not start back up and it is getting fuel and spark. Anybody have ideas get back with me.
thanks
for about 30.00 you can buy a computer and module evaluator. you can pick up one at your local auto parts store. if you have a motor manual or chilton for your bronco. go to the computer diagnostics and it will tell you how to check all of your electronic modules. alot of the new vehicles can be done by turning on and off the ignition switch a certain amount of times and it will show dots and dashes on your instrument panel. then you basically decode the marks and it tells you what is wrong and you can replace the part yourself
mdh he does not have mass air. mass air didnt show up on the broncos till late 94. so thats not going to be the issue here. whats it doing when you try and start it. whats the timing set at, if its off it will make it difficult to start. have you pulled any of the plugs, maybe your getting to much fuel and its flooding out. try starting it with the pedal to the floor if it starts then your fuel pressure reg is acting up .
have not tried any of these things. right now its pouring cats an ddogs out here in new orleans. will try tomorrow. is there a way to check fuel pressure without a guage.
