rims and tires

Hey yall,

New to Ford, been a GM man my whole life. Recently bought a 2015 f250 xlt.....very impressed with it. Only thing is the wheel feel and look to small. What is the largest size i can run stock? Will 35/12.5 fit on stock 17 wheels or should i just spring for aftermarket rims at the same time? Also exhaust options for the 6.2? Remember, i need load range e!

Thanks everyone,

the rookie

35s should fit stock... Alot of people are just removing the muffler and last resonator on the truck and replacing with stainless steel exhaust piece for about 50 bucks... Everyone seems to love the sound. Check your local muffler shop see how much they charge.

35's fit on my stock F350 fine. Needed just a tiny bit of trimming inside on the wheel well but no big deal.

Thanks for the replys! Im thinking that i am going to go with aftermarket rims and keep the stock rims and tires for long drives for better gas mileage. I do haul and tow from time to time and its always heavy. I have heard that 33's might be a better size than 35's due to range in suspension. Any thoughts? I have duratracs on my 8.1 gm and have loved them but cant find them in 35 but can in 33 with load range e. Thanks for the help!
