Help Identify This Bezel? Please?

Guys - Not many are following my thread on radio bezels, and that's understandable. But, I'm trying to document the various bezels these trucks came with for future use, so I could use your help.

Specifically, I realized today that I have a bezel that I don't know from whence it came. It is the one in the middle and, as you can see, has been cut up. But, it has a raised bead that extends up to what would have been the badge area - and that would allow someone to create a 4-DIN opening for a radio with a large screen if they wanted. However, I don't know what year this bezel came out.

I'll hazard a guess that it is a 1984, but I'd like some confirmation on that. And the #'s on the back are "E0TB-10045A99D W\GRAIN" and "E0TB-60045A98C ALUM". But, as said in the above thread, I don't think those #'s tell what the bezel is. However, I think we may be able to identify each bezel by the #'s on the back as it looks like they vary by bezel.

So, if you can ID this bezel I'd really appreciate it. And, if you have a bezel that you know the year truck it came from and the #'s on the back that would help piece this jig saw puzzle together.

Thanks!

Gary, see post #33. This was a 1980 -1981 Radio Delete Bezel.

This was a great visual thread with lots of pictures of all of the 1980 - 1986 bezels. But most of the pictures on the first three pages got deleted.

Fonzie - Man, that took a bit of a stretch. You said look at post #33, but didn't mention the thread. Then I remembered the thread mentioned in my other thread. Sure enough, post #33 has exactly the right bezel:

And now I know why I didn't recognize the bezel. I've never seen a radio-delete bezel. Such a shame it was butchered as those are rare.

Anyway, thanks! Mystery solved. Rep's to you for that.

"Piney" did not have a radio from the factory when my parents bought it new in '81. It had a radio delete bezel that only had "Ranger" on it. The Ford garage in Kemmerer, WY pulled the radio and bezel from a
Ranger XLT and installed it for my folks. I am on the look out for the factory correct bezel as I won't be installing a radio. You are right, they are scarce as hens teeth!

I'm thinking we, us FTE'ers, need to be on the lookout for scarce things like XLS and radio delete bezels. Within reason buy them and then find out who needs them.

Especially since it's becoming pretty dang rare to find *anything* of this era in the JY these days - at least around here.

Yep. I rue having not bought the one out of a salvage near me and stripped it. But I hope to get back over and pick several parts off of it soon.

Lucked out on the New Mexico truck that for some reason ended up at the local JY, complete and completely functional with NO rust!
It was going to be crushed, It's death sentence was "bad fuel pump" written on the windshield.
Installed the cab, plugged it in and all systems are functional! all dash valves, AC, fan-blower,radio, cruise pw doors. There was a 30 year old Lariat bench seat under the cover with neither a hole or rip in it!

That is luck. Or, maybe as Satya Nadella said, good karma?

I have a 1983 F150 base model standard cab 4X4.. It is not from my truck make/model/year. At least you can eliminate this one.

Bezels are described as R/H's in these two pics:
