In 68, (Me ten) I'd sit in our new Fairlane, step on brake, pull hazard switch just the right amount out, (all the way & it wouldn't work) and listen to the radio without key. Drove my folks crazy.

Is there a genius out there who can explain how the wipers will operate with the ignition off? Obviously, all accessories are "connected" on the ground side but how does the wiper motor get power?
