It's a 90'. I am looking to replace the bench but it might take a while before I find what I want.

I'm jealous. A supercab with a 460, MANUAL transmission, MANUAL 4x4, and she's a longbed too! You know what, those actually have a LOT of problems... yeah 90 was a bad year for Ford trucks so you should sell it before it gives you any trouble. I'll happily take it off your hands for cheap...

Just kiddin' man. Those are reliable as ever, and she looks good for a 90. You'll love that 460 (except for the fuel bill) and you just can't beat a manual transmission in anything (except a drag car) and manual transfer case/hubs.

I say do a 92+ front end swap, Captain's chairs and center console, and you'll have a helluva sweet truck there.

Thanks fellas. To be honest, I've only seen it in pictures. That's all it took. And all the research I did on the 460 5 speed combo. This forum helped a lot. I will follow up with any mods and upgrades. Yes, I hear it's a thirsty bi***. But I currently drive another truck (won't say the brand to not offend anyone) that's getting about 10.5 to the gallon.

I'm curious as to why the 87's are less desirable.

Carburated.

At least if you have a carburated truck get a good looking one like an 86

I learned to drive in my stepdad's 88 that looked just like this, it had the 7.3. Great trucks.

Hey Brad I resent that remark! I also prefer the brick interiors that I know you hate, LOL

The carburetor motors also did not have serpentine belt drive, that started in '87 with the fuel injection on 4.9 and 5.0. The 5.8 and above didn't get injected until '88.

Looks like a sweetheart of a truck, its got all the equipment. Nice find!

What's wrong with a carburated truck, they sure are a lot cheaper to work on than the fuel injected one's.I have both.

That may or may not be. But it gets kind of tiring having you always slamming the looks of trucks you don't like. It's kind of like telling a guy that his wife is ugly. Some things are better left unsaid.
