So I was having this problem a few weeks ago took it to a shop he replaced two injectors and some prongs started fine then today I agree driving a bit this morning went to start it when it was hot and no love. I do have an oil leak which looks to be coming from the timing chain cover would this cause my problem? I will have scangage readings soon maybe the stc fitting I hope so got some codes p0404,c2022,p0460,p2285
So when cranking my icp is reading 320 to 330 the ficm is 47
My money says HPO leak.
you need 500 for your truck to tell the FICM to tell your injectors to function. my 04 would go from 0 to 800 or so on my scangauge when I tried to start it. my 07 seems to jump all the way up to 1000.
what year is your truck? when my HPO went out on my 04 (either time) I seem to recall pulling ICP numbers in the low 300's.
I would also pull your IPR and check that for maybe a clogged screen or something.
So when cranking my icp is reading 320 to 330 the ficm is 47
what is the IPR when your ICP is 300 when trying to crank.if the IPR is 70 or so when trying to crank check the IPR for debris on the screen. If it is clean you either have a oil leak in the high pressure system or a bad high pressure pump
