I would love to sport this truck. Still too high of a price. $8,000 is pushing it.

I'd take a crew cab in those genres, even a brick nose, gas or diesel because it would get a diesel of my choice regardless. Gassers are usually a fraction of the cost for the truck as a whole because they're not coveted as such. There's a nice 460 for sale, but with low miles. The 460 is actually a desirable gasser. My stepdad's 460 OBS hauls *****.

As far as the truck in the first post goes, yes it is priced high, however if it was about a year or two older with a Power Stroke in that condition and mileage, they would still be asking that price and the IDI is just as good of an engine, so why not. I hope he gets that price for it. More power to him.

+1. Who buys Bushwacker Street Flares, for any purpose other than to cover up present/past rust?

[QUOTE=madpogue;14738037]If it were a year or two older, it would still be an IDI.... If it were a year or two NEWER, and a PSD, it would be worth $10-12K. IDI may be just as _good_ an engine, but an IDI truck is not _worth_ as much as its PSD counterpart, all other things equal. That's just what the market will bear. It's a sharp truck no question, but as an IDI, it's prob. an $8-10K truck.
I meant newer. Sorry. Don't know why I typed older. My fault.
