jeb.

My First post but I have been a lifelong ford man...50+ years. I have a 2012 F250 with a PS6.7. Should I be using 15W40 or 10W30 oil in engine? I pull a
5th wheel camper with a boat behind it.

I use the 15W40 as I am always towing.

10W30 is recommended for normal driving.

Also consider temps now that winter is around the corner.

15W40 is only good till about 20F.

Or go synthetic, and run 5w40. Your diesel supplement owners guide allows for all three based on the conditions you drive in. Check it out!
