Picking this up saturday

It needs door lowers and the running boards fixed for the most part which should be easy, but the only thing i see being an issue is above the headlight on the fender. It might just be that small piece but by the way it looks the whole fender might be shot up front. Ill be killing all the rust with vinegar after I soda blast the truck. Getting it at a steal so ill be fixing and reselling the Delaware area.
What are your plans for it? Fixing it up to sell has to be a tough job. You need to make it nice enough to sell quickly but also not spend too much money so you can make a profit.
How does the interior look and what engine does it have in it? Are you just going to freshen those up?
Keep us update on your progress.
Plans are fix it to be presentable, get it running (20 years he never turned the key), and driving with no leaks. I want to repair the door bottoms and sills, which should be pretty easy. Also I would like to make the front fenders have a bit more metal. Im not willing to spent 700$ on two new metal fenders, but I will be looking for some nicer ones.
Im trying not to spend more than say 500$ over what I paid for truck.
I should be able to accomplish this, I will also be teaching my girlfriend how to do metal repair. I am no pro, but I do a lot of fabrication work for offroad trucks. Not so much sheet work, but I shouldnt have too much of a problem.
I want to soda blast it before sand and see if there is any metal worth keeping, if i sand blast it im afraid ill blast it to nothing, or warp the metal with too much concentration in one area. The body of the panel is solid, so is the inside.
Its the smaller I6 232? with a 3 on the tree.

You can't sell the truck on this forum (you have to use the classifieds) but you sure can show us lots of pictures of your progress and how it's all going. I would understand why you wouldn't want to give too many details on price/cost/selling price. But I sure would be interested in how you feel it works out for you and hours invested versus profit made thoughts.
One thing you hear a lot around here is to spend as much as you can on a solid body. Body work is the most expensive part. So if you can get the body back to solid shape and not focus as much on mechanical you will probably be better off. Of course, like you said, it has to be running to get the most lookers.
Lots of pictures please.

Ill post pics definitely, i like to have logs of all my builds. I have a decent offer on the truck already with no work by me, but I know I can get more with how solid the rest of this truck is. For what I paid I cant pass it up. Ill be looking around 6,5xx obo once shes solid and running with frame cleaned up and any restoring needed.
I wont be selling on here, ill be using CL for local sales only.
my dyslexia is showing haha.

Parts that are panel specific are very hard to come by in good condition. I should know the doors were mine and the running boards are mine too.
