I am looking for the headlight loom clips that are fastened under the carriage bolts that hold the inner and outer fender together. Does anyone know if they are available? I think I only have 1 good one and I haven't seen them listed anywhere.
Thank you very much, Mark
Bill, Thank you for the scan of the parts book and the heads up on the availability of the clips. I looked in all the catalogs I have and didn't come up with any sources.
Thanks again, Mark
Thank you all for the replies.
51fred, Here are a couple of photos of the clip I need.
Ross, I have two that are good. I will need six more, as I will need to run some of my engine wiring on the passenger side. Let me know what you guys have and what you need for them.
Thank you again, Mark
BTW, Does anyone know what the tab sticking out from the bolt slot is for?
The bottom one is a clip used along the lower lip of the frame rail for the wiring running toward the back of the truck. The top one might work if you drill a hole. The problem with "saving" the original ones is the fact that it's connected to the legendary fender bolts (which usually require breaking to remove).
Also if it helps, I see that Carpenter mentions that this part below "works" with the 7RA-14197-A number mentioned earlier? Im not to sure what that means though
midfifty, Thanks for the replies. I will keep your inner fender clips in mind, like doc said I would have to drill a hole to use them but, that may be my the best alternative.
Thanks again, Mark
