I have a 2004 F350, 6.0 liter. It is chipped but I always run it stock. When I was pulling my trailer up hill, a "booster" alarm came up on my chip control panel and I lost a lot of power. What would cause this? I also noticed when I would let off the gas, it sounded like my engine was backfiring. It didn't make the loud popping noise and more of a muffled "puh puh puh"
