Having said that, the constant-power "keep alive" circuit draws almost nothing so a 1 amp fuse will be more than adequate. But the switched-power fuse is more difficult to guess as it is a function of the power output of the unit. Many head units claim 20 watts/channel, and if yours is a 4-channel unit that would be a total of 80 watts. At 14 volts, which is the only place they'll kick out max power, you could conceivably draw more than 6 amps. But if you aren't going to run it at full tilt then a 5 amp fuse should be adequate. But if it blows when running it very loud go to then next size up.
