I tend to run max pressure. Partially because I never know what I'm gonna get into but secondly I'll take the extra MPG'S (albeit, minimal) and sacrifice a little ride quality. But I bought a 1 ton truck, I have no expectations of a Cadillac ride!!! LOL!!

I've sort of given up on MPG. Too much time on winter fuels and too many short trips have completely killed my "efficient diesel" fantasy. This time around, soft tires, heavy foot, and dual alternators, moon roof, and anything else that screams conspicuous consumption.
Congrats on the purchase and don't worry, the truck is well worth the wait!!
Feel I need to come to confession here: I am still flirting with the idea of Duramax. Nice soft digital interior, quiet. Soft (but bouncy) ride. Allison. Boxed frame. Larger fuel tank. Better steering wheel.
It's hard to buy a GM product right now though. Or ever haha. Those boxy wheel flares? And 765 lb-ft is a knife to a gun fight nowadays. I think I did right going with the FOMOCO. Love the sound of the 6.7 PSD. Heard one that was obviously modded and tuned last week and it made my eyes water.

Any thoughts on waiting for the 2016s? My thought was that the 2015 could be the last of the great ones until Ford gets the bugs worked out of the new design. Of course, by 2017 or 2018, I'll be thinking "boy my 2015 looks old".
I really like the idea of an aluminum truck. No more body rust issues to chase after. We will see what the 2016 brings to this truck. They do have some work to do in order to quit being slammed for having an "old" cab design.

I'll take old cab design any day over square wheel wells and DEF fill under the hood.

I really like the cab design.. what could they do to make it 'new' and still functional? This is like the FW puzzle of only just so much room to fit all this stuff into.
