I am looking to buy a truck, the one in question is a 1972 F250 with a 360 and a 4-speed.
Before I have driven and used my brothers 1968 F250 390 4-speed and my other brothers 1973 F100 390 C-6, both of these trucks have good power and seem that they could pull a house down, I have faith in FE engines but some people are saying compresion made the 360 a dog, but didn't compresion go down in 1973?
That 360 will lug down and pull where them 390's will want to jump and buck! I've pulled over 24,000 pounds down the road up and down hills several times with my 73, 360 4 spd. They have low end grunt. Woody
