Anybody else upset that the Ford web site does not have the correct information for fuel capacities? I bought an F-250 CC thinking I had a 37.5 gal tank and it is only 26. I'm pissed. I needed the range. I would have bought a different truck had I known the truth.

Long bed would have given you 37 gal. Short beds have been in the 26 gal. range since the early 2,000's to my knowledge. You didn't do your home work. The window sticker would have also listed the size fuel tank.
There are options available to you to add more fuel capacity.........
Solutions.........
Yup. I have the 65 gal Titan Tank but mine is the long bed. You can get the 50 gal tank for the short bed. I love getting 700 miles out of a tank. Makes my commute to work easier. (Houston-Morgan City, LA. 300 miles each way). Only downside to upgrading is ponying up the cash because the Titans aren't cheap!

You must be towing something both ways! I get about 850 miles out of the 50 gallon Titan tank! And over 500 miles when towing 13,000 pounds.
But the Titan 50 gallon tank for the short bed trucks is one of the best mods. Even if it is $1,200. If you put on the miles it pays for itself.

I just used 700 as a round number, no clue what it actually gets, I just fill it up when I need to. Prob getting around 800-900. I'll have to start watching it to confirm.
The tank size on the SB really is ridiculous. I mean, come on now, it's an HD diesel for crying out loud.
Hell........snotty nosed kids fresh out of college do these stupid things. No experience....Do NOT listen to customers.....and slept through half their classes.
If Ford was smart enough to offer a few key options......they would sell 10% more trucks.
After reading the article on Ford Trucks in Fortune Magazine, I think they could care less really. They are making a 40% larger profit on King Ranch and Platinums. My 70K+ truck just started making a rattle noise like it fell off the Grand Canyon, and still has stereo control issues that I had on my 2011. It's sad. The difference between American quality and European is significant. There is no attention to detail here.

Tell me about it. I traded my 08 BMW 5 Series on my current truck. I don't have any complaints yet but we'll see. I'll never forget when we bought a brand new 2012 Explorer (the new body style). We were test driving them and when I sat down in the front passenger seat while the wife was driving, I noticed that the dash panel and the door panel trims didn't quite line up with each other. The door panel was about a 1/4" lower than the dash panel and the trim pieces that were supposed to make a clean flowing line didn't do just that. I thought that maybe somebody had messed with the door panels or something. Well we drove another one to compare the Eco-boost to the V6 and I found the EXACT same problem on the second vehicle. Turns out that they are all like that and when I asked the salesman about it he looked at me like I was asking him to perform a calculus problem while translating it in Japanese. American Quality Control will never be what the Germans have. Sad.
