Hello FTE buds...My 2003 6.0 has 55k on the clock, did a complete coolant flush at 52k.(Motorcraft).motor has no mods and have no issues as of now.Read thru many posts about tuners from less expensive ones from all the big local auto part stores to more expensive pre programmed plug and play.I really want to know what is really going on in the motor as the mileage is slowly getting higher.I keep her real with oem always!Looking for someone who has a similar situation and added the tuner.Im finding so many different opinions as to different tuners, just want to get some real readings on the motors performance,be able to make some adjustments without doing any damage,as I have no issues with her. Thanks to all!
For just monitoring numbers you have dashboss (iPhone), torque (android) with a blue tooth obd2 connector. Then you have scan gauge which a lot if people use or edge cts. For tuning 99% are Gona tell you go sct
Rusty, outstanding read, just what I was looking for, your post is very informative for the newbie,as you seem unbiased on these I would think the Insight would be a good choice, this site is by far the best I have been on for reference and members like yourself who take the time to do a write up like this is just awesome!
