Thanks. I took a Bore scope and peeked inside over the weekend and seen it was painted fully inside, Good going on that one! I think I may still put some cavity wax (rust proofing) inside to seal up any possible spots it may try and rust in.

Hitch installation

That's odd because that's the first step in the instructions. All of the hardware should have been included. At least it is when the hitch is purchased new. Please take a look at the install instructions by clicking the link below.

No worries, I can take an internet beating!

Some hardware came with it, but no nuts for the 18 mm bolts. It says to use the weld nuts on the frame. As you can see from my picture, these nuts are not welded on the frame. They use their neighboring but to hold them in place with the bracket. No way I could do this without dropping the tank completely. So that leads to the instructions again. The way I read it, it just says to lower the tank, not remove it. Otherwise, what are the but plates and threader for? As difficult as it may seem to drop the tank, it seems to me leaving it in place would actually be harder and more dangerous. Adding to my hardware expense was my inability to procure 18mm grade 10.9 nuts in my area. I ended up just buying 3/4" grade 8 hardware instead.

Thanks for your time.
