Hi folks, I have a 1986 F-250
Lariat. There seems to be something missing. It seems in previously owned by me ford trucks a circular plastic insulator that went between the bottom of the hub and the turn indicator assembly. Its missing from mine and since I bought the truck she blows the fuses when the steering wheel is in place. I can see where the hub has worn the insulation from the relative wires under the hub. Am I possibly correct that during a previous repair to this steering wheel or steering wheel column the insulator was misplaced? Thanks, Mike
