305/75/16's will they fit??
Hello all...
I need to pick-up a new set of tires this weekend for my PSD crew cab. I wanted to know if 305's would rub the inner fenders and fit on my stock rims? I do have a 4x4, however it is stock height. My buddy's 295's clear fine, I just don't want to spend the extra $$$ for the BFG's, so my choices are 285's or 305's. Any help or personal experiences will be a great help. Jeff in NM...OUT

They will fit but you will have rubbing on the plastic on the bottom of the bumper when you enter parking lots. You will have to trim it.I have 315/75/16 on my 02 it had a leveling kit on it and it still rubbed and it through the offset off on the front end and i had to have a kit put in the front end to center it.I got tired of the rubbing and got a 4 inch lift put on to correct it.Though i wished i had gotten 6 inch cause sometimes it still rubbs when entering driveways hard

I had 35's on 8" rims on mine, but I had to have the front bumper shimmed about 2" for clearance. Now that I've got a reverse shackle kit installed, the shims could be removed from the front bumper. The tires will still rub on the front leaf springs at full lock, but just barely.
