I am looking for the best price on these 6" steps for my 2015 250 Lariat Crew Cab. Didn't get them at purchase and need best price with shipping to San Antonio, TX. Assistance appreciated.

Not a direct answer to your question but I am on my second set of these and really do not like them. Slippery if wet and they don't hold up in northern winters around here.

Just a suggestion to take a look at AMP Research 75134-01A Power Steps.

I am not affiliated with this company but right there in San Antonio, TX is a company called South Texas Outfitters. They make steps out of real American steel. I had their bumpers on my 1999 F-350 and absolutely loved them. They saved my life on more than one occasion. Creamed a deer in Alabama and they saved my life in Italy on Christmas morning in 2003. Check them out. Google them as everyone says. Their steps go from the front wheel well to the rear tire.

I have those steps too. Would have rather had the closed ones with the puddle lights built in. I wouldn't think they would get as messed up with ice/snow on the step part.

People here tell me the same thing about winter and those steps too - I just got a 2015 and haven't had a winter with it yet, obviously.

I purposely ordered my current truck without them. My last truck had them and the chrome started peeling off within 1.5 years and Ford refused to cover it under warranty because they were considered a "wear item." I finally made enough noise that they got replaced but never again will I spend my $ on them...

For that kind of dough I'd be looking at the Amp steps, especially since you are in TX and you don't have to worry about potential issues with snow/salt.

Also, if you really want them you should look on Craigslist. I just saw a new takeoff set on CL a few weeks ago in Boston for $500. Lots of trucks down there in Texas, there must be some for sale. Good luck

I am on my second set too and they are as craptacular as the first set. The second set has not started to peel but I'm confident by the end of winter they will.

I'm surprised y'all don't like these. I've never had an issue with them and I don't think I've ever slipped on them.

Thanks

If I were you, but then I'm not............I would search your local Craigslist for a pair of take off sets. Installation is not a big deal, and Craigslist should save you some big $.

That was the only sign of wear on our 2010 truck. Chrome started to flake next to the treads. What I think happened was stepping on them with wet salty feet in the winter. Tried getting them replaced under the warranty also but were told the same thing. Had we kept the truck I intended to get them coated with LineX:

Thanks for sharing the pic. I was actually thinking of getting mine Line-X'd when I get my box done but wasn't sure how it would look. After seeing the pic I think it might just happen now.
