1991 Ford F-150 - rear leaf springs

Your truck has 2.5" wide leafs, and the f250 springs are 3" wide (don't have to be same year). You can swap to the wider springs. You'll need front and rear spring hangers as well as shackles. New eyelet bolts and bushings would be wise, and of course new u bolts.
I put new 1700lb springs with a little extra arch to them in my f150, and is amazing how much better she handles weight. Still half ton springs but my old set must have been very sacked out.. well worth it to put decent springs in. Coupled that with new cc844 front springs, poly sway bar bushings, and bilstein shocks all around, it's one sweet ride compared to the old parts.

Anything is possible with a little bit of swapping out parts, too time consuming in my eyes though.
Have you thought about just getting direct replacement Heavy Duty leaf springs? That way you take off your old, replace with new and you are on your way. Much easier and probably much cheaper because you're not swapping everything out.
