2001 tranny improvements?
I have a 2001 Excursion PSD, auto and am looking to firm up the trans shifting. I have considered the Banks Trans command or just a Transgo kit. I have also read about the tri?????valve and spring replacement. I don't do any real heavy towing. For those of you who have made improvemnts what works? Looking for help, Thanks!

After doing some reading I think I have narrowed my ideas down to the sonnex valve and tricumulator springs. My question is there any advantage to also put in a transgo shift kit or will the sonnex valve and springs alone do the same thing?

I have a shift kit, and the trancommand. I recommend that arrangement to anyone. I get rock hard shifts when I want or need them, and firm but soft shifts when I don't - much better than a shift kit alone, and more refined than the transcommand alone.
