Anyone have a list of ground locations on a 1977 F-100, 300CI regular cab long bed 2 wheel drive truck. I have searched several times and resorces with out any luck.
If you're talking about separate grounds, they are few and far between. Battery negative to engine block, ground strap from firewall to engine, and if you have a radio, ground strap from hood to firewall.
If you're talking about the grounds in the wiring harness, there are quite a few of them, too numerous to detail here.
Best thing would be to get a copy of the factory wiring schematics. These will give you the location of all the grounds in the electrical system.
Here's an example, the page is from the '79 schematics.
Every ground point has a location code that starts with a "G"
You see G-1101 and want to know what and where to look. In the chart G-1101 shows that the ground is an eyelet, inside the body, forward of the LH rear taillight.
Each page will show the location of all the grounds on that page.
You can view the wiring diagrams at FORDification.net - The '73-'79 Ford Pickup Resource . They don't have the '77 but for the grounds you should be able to use the'76.
