Well...I did it!

My new baby! Have lots to learn about owning a diesel, but I've enjoyed the first 100 miles.

2014 F350, Lariat and loaded! Used with 13K miles.

You told me to listen to my wife..and I did.

Congrats...

Learning about these rigs is fun. Read the diesel supplement manual that came with the truck if nothing else. It is a thinner book...

If you REALLY want to know ALL about it, there is "coffee table" book available. But that is more for techs than enthusiasts. (IMHO) Although it can help you self-diagnose and pinpoint issues. I prefer to ask a tech on the forum though.

Thanks. I'm not a mechanic, so I'll leave the tech stuff to those more qualified. I'll check out the supplement.

Nice looking ride. Read everything you can here but don't let the bad threads concern you too much. Sometimes expensive trucks break.

I was at my dealer yesterday getting my oil changed. Service writer said that the 6.7L truck has a better repair record at their dealership than the 7.3L trucks did.

bruce...

Congrats.

I just hit 4 years on my 11 few days ago. I was also convinced by my wife, I had been looking at used trucks, never even gave a thought about a new truck until she said "let's just go look at new ones" after driving a bunch of 6L and 6.4s. Glade I ended up with my 6.7, 4 years 73k later good thing I listened to her.
