This is one case where being an OLD Forester is good. I would love a GPS for the bird dog, but not for my truck....
I still resort to paper maps... unless my daughter is with me, then she tells me where to go using her cell phone.

there are not a lot of us left out there that can read a topographical map anymore.
Terrain features now consist of the mall and Starbucks.
The tsb seemed to help mine.... but haven't proven it yet...
Also seemed to install some new features (or maybe I just noticed them )
but agree - maps not being updated for years is a real failure for the mfg's - people will stop buying nav systems from them and go aftermarket !!!
Ok, IMHO, don't expect anything great from the tsb ....
today coming home... at least it got the direction right, just two or three miles to the west (I was actually on the 287 to the left!)
I have had the same problem and since the truck is in the shop for service I am going to mention the TSB to them. On top of that I received a notice from Ford that my map needs to be updated for the cost of $149. That is just BS! Instead of paying $795 for Fords Navigation I could have bought another Garmin with lifetime map updates for $349 and the Garmin has more features than Ford such as elevation and speed. Save your money and buy something that know where the road is. Ford is just getting out of sight and out of mind!
