Hello, happy Sunday Are those XRF's a brand or a repair shop or both, never heard of them. Or is that a superduty thing?

XRF is a brand, but to my knowledge they can only be bought through a single online store whose name escapes me at the moment.

Bought a truck today. 88 f150, extended cab long bed. Not my first choice but seemed like a good deal. Hopefully it'll turn out. Gotta do a little work to get it going. Needs an in-tank fuel pump or two, and a brake line.

I pick it up next weekend, so I will have pics then. Should have gotten some today, but just didn't cross my mind.

Or three lol, iirc there is one in each tank and one on the frame rail. Welcome back to truck ownership!!

The high pressure pump on the frame, the fuel tank selector valve, and the selector switch were all just replaced. So hopefully the problem is narrowed to the in-tank pumps.

Very clean looking truck. Any of the usual rust issues?

Most of it has been addressed. There is a little starting on the wheel wells again, but very slightly. It's a backyard paint job, but it was fairly well done. The floor boards have the typical rot, but the truck is overall much much cleaner than anything else I have come across.

Good job searching it out. They are certainly few and far between these days and those that have them in good condition are rarely willing to part with them.

This guy didn't really want to sell. He is moving back to PA, and just didn't have the time to get it up and running 100% for the trip. I had come across a few good ones recently, but just didn't get into communication quick enough and they sold. I was lucky to catch this one quick. I have been actively searching for at least 2 months now.

Good Morning Gents,
Nice and brisk out this morning. Installed 4" MBRP Exhaust this weekend and did some rustproofing. Install was not too bad just kind of a pain to align downpipe to the turbo. Finally had to get the wife under the truck to hold the pipe. Hopefully the UPS guy will deliver DP Infinity and tunes today!!!!

Have a great day,
Jim
