Good games on today. I was gone last weekend so I missed out but I did watch the Cowboy game yesterday thanks to the DVR.

Happy day after football Nor Cal! The Raiders gave me a scare yesterday, by actually making me think they might win a game and break their ten game losing streak, but then they reverted back to normal and threw an interception, and added to their 4 straight years of over 100 penalties. Which is interesting since this was only game 5 and they have over 100 penalties already. No wonder they now have an 11 game losing streak. Of course a team that is 4-0 playing a team that is 0-4, what was to be expected? LOL
That was my only loss yesterday. I had Chargers -7. Oh well I`m still ahead 115.00
I was hoping the Raiders would pull it out and screw 25 but oh well.
I missed the first half, and most of the third quarter because I forgot they were on. It was already 21-21 when I turned it on. I too thought they might actually win one, until the interception with less than 2 minutes left.
It has been on CL for a month, if it is still listed when my truck sells maybe you could go down and check it out for me? According to Google maps it is only 24 miles south of you. Only disadvantage I see is the salvage title.

I finally got my Falcon, aka The Pelican, back on the road. I replaced the gaskets on the front of the 289, put a much nicer original timing cover on, new water pump, an old COBRA intake, and my treasure- a 1964 Autolite 4100 4 barrel carb on it. The bad news was the first two times I tried to seal the intake it leaked.
Working with 50 year old corroded castings is not fun!
The second seal job, the RTV didn't V. It was squishy like it just came out of the tube when I took it apart a few days later.
In the end I used some Ultra Gray and had success!
