Electric shift transfercase to manual?

My 1996 FSB has an electrically operated transfercase, blah, blah, blah......

Has anyone converted an electric shift to a manual shift?

If it is possible, what parts are needed? Other than the actual floor mounted

shift lever.

It would also be nice to have a manual transmission again.

You need to swap out the entire transfer case. You'll also need the shifter and the rod that connects the shifter to the transfer case. You'll need the boot that goes around the shifter. And, if you want your "4x4" and "Low Range" lights to still light up on the dashboard, you'll need a small wiring harness to connect to the transfer case. I just did this swap on my 94 Bronco.

Might not be a bad idea to look for a donor bronco that has the manual tranny and transfer case. That way you would have all the parts you need for both swaps.
